1916 gives an electrifying and passionate performance. The band formed last year and performed at the William Wallace Day Festival - and literally brought the house down. Robbi Byrne's virtuosity on the bagpipes, Uillleann pipes and whistles blend very well with Rich's and Doug's superb guitar playing, Guy's melodic keyboards, and Walter's passionate drumming.

Come and experience this exhilarating band. Get up and dance! Enjoy the music! They play a blend of Irish and Scots jigs, reals, and hornpipes plus original songs with some great arranging. All of this making 1916 sound quite different from other bands in the Folk/Rock Celtic genre.
